New Year, New FUN ❤

 WELL I kicked off the new year on the right foot lemme tell ya... I had a Big Mac for the FIRST TIME. I know, you must be wondering if I've lived under a rock my entire life. MY GOD IS WAS GOOD. Dominican diet #what? ALSO. New year= new obsessions... aka SUITS. Yes, I was suckered into the day-long-marathon on BRAVO after Christmas and HOLY HANNAH.... so. into. it. Harvey is a beautiful man. Can I also mention how Rachel on Suits is a FOX and doing great things for the Rachels of the world? killin' it. Since I'm on the topic of tv shows... next week are the premiere's for Pretty Little Liars, Nashville AND Suits on the 13th. Yeah I'll be watching alllllll dat. 

So I was watching #TheView... but now #Dr.Oz is on and he just asked a woman what she felt about her fat pants... 1. CLEARLY NOT GOOD 2. Is losing weight the topic of every episode of his show? #snooze. Speaking of weight.... yeah.... I had a couple treats this break. I blame Sharon Etts... the woman knows how to make a damn good banana loaf.I call myself miss-new-booty. And the whole decorative-chocolates-in-Christmas-themed-bowls-around-the-house-thing- DID NOT HELP THE CAUSE. Woof. OH and I blame Doug Etts and the whole ice-cream-company-scenario. Yeah, that ain't good. I have no willpower... sooooo...... I won't be eating till grad trip, officially. I'm already dreading the gym today... I HATE THE POST NYE GYM CRAZE. I go 6x a week people- that shit takes dedication #goaway 

OH another recent discovery... Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. I always had my go-to-winter-latte but recently made the switch and YOU SHOULD ALSO. Don't look up the nutritional information though... just order it and don't look back. Seriously. Well, the treadmill is calling my name (more like yelling it hysterically :| ) ...  enjoy the next few days with the famjam until school cramps our style............  ( BOO ). OH and by the way ladies, ASOS has SERIOUS sales going on right now online.... you know what to do. Speaking of sales... I have GOT to hit up some stores. I have a serious amount of gift cards and I KNOW what to do with them #mission. 

Yeah, I had a Hills marathon one day. #SueMe.  It's like a right of passage to being girl.  

I think everyone knows my feelings on tequila.... GREAT.

back to real life

I have officially finally moved on from the midterm-induced-week-long-sobriety-hibernation phase of my life. thank GOD. nerd rachel is really not a fun time SO I'm glad she's gone for awhile. The worst thing is that this morning I woke up feeling FABULOUS (contrary to my roommates beliefs that I wake up singing.... I actually don't.... but might start) I DID MY HAIR FOR CLASS. My midterm-induced-messy-bun took a back seat. Wanna know the worst part about it? I barely saw ANYONE on campus let alone any males. Now THAT'S a #singlegirlproblem. Speaking of gals.... I saw the movie Pitch Perfect last night with the ladies... WOW... obsessed. It was actually hilarious, highly recommend it! Am I obsessed with the male lead in the movie? Yes. Do I wish he was my boyfriend? Yes. All I want is a guy to be cute & sing along to songs with me.... IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK. #sweetjesus. What else is knew in my life..... OH YES I am heading off to the motherland aka toronto this week for the annual-october-ettinger-gals-shopapolooza. And yes, it's exactly how it sounds. My sister and I actually make a schedule of what areas of Toronto we are going to hit up, what stores, what restaurants, etc. It's a beautiful thing. not to mention it's TORONTO FASHION WEEK. WEEOOO! Wanna know the best part? I GET TO WEAR MY FALL FEDORA. Man I love that thing. But it definitelyyyy isn't Antigonish appropriate.... soooooo the second I get in the car to drive to the airport that puppy is going ON. #winning #imadome

ALSO, PLL Halloween episode tonight... CAN'T WAIT. Now that I don't have to study I get to do things I ACTUALLY enjoy again... like blogging... muhahaha and watching shows.... I've been told by several sources that I would LOVE the show #Nashville. SO, that's what I'll be watching later. It's a show about a country singer diva chick who clearly (and most importantly) has a Luke-Bryan-look-alike-singer-boyfriend... SIGN ME THE FUCK UP. I'm already into it. I need to move to Nashville and find myself a country boy. and that's final. 

Sweet jesus this past week has been NUTS. I need to sleep anddddd I need a drink. Or like twelve. Daiquiris anyone?

Okay, I'm the first one to hate on Taylor Swift. I admit- she drives me NUTSO. That said, I've listented to the new album... and I'm obsessed with this song. Do I think she's a tad obsessive and maybe start writing songs about things OTHER THAN her relationships? Maybe. but still... girls got GAME. 

FEARLESS

WOWZA, what a WEEK. So many activities. So firstly, #bigthings, I got a TATTOO. Yup, Rachel Ettinger got inked. I almost don't believe it. But on the bright side, I'm OBSESSED with it. No regrets. I love love love LOVE it. I just feel really great about it, ya know? It's a peace sign on the inside of my index finger... rach-etts style. HOLLA !

I haven't blogged in agessssssss. Life is CRAY. But also fantastic. Ya just gotta have fun, ya know?... plus it's forth year... and my scholarship is renewed. So... YOLO. SO I had a clothing sale in Halifax this summer... and I made like $1000 #forreals... and I was SO CHEAP... so round two is this Friday... reallyyyy hoping to get rid of all the clothes. I need more room for new stuff... yup. I have a problem. And it's fall... aka I need new clothes for season. Whoops.

ALSO- the famjam is moving, again. #storyofmylife. Doug Etts got a new job SO the Ettinger's are relocating once again, this time to a condo on the beach! WINNING. Can't wait to tan at that baby. ooOOooo also I'm re-obsessed with sushi.... sweet potato tempura rolls have got to be one of the most delicious things invented on Earth. Dramatic, but so true. Heavenly. 

It is super obvious that my ADHD is acting up again? hahaha topic to topic at light speed. Sorry. GIRLS AT X- Do the ZUMBA class at Goodlife. It is FANTASTIC... the instructor was legit YELLING at me to booty pop faster.... I was like HELLS YA OK. Swear to god.  I had one of those WICKED-awesome-days today- tried a new horse and LOVED it... so hopefully these mottos will cheer ya up as well! and yessss I made a youtube channel (Ya do whatcha gotta do... eTalk here I come baby).

one week until school... SHUT UP WHAT?!

Yeah, so one week until I go back to school. I'm sorry WHATTT. I mean I'm excited for the social aspect.. but school.. is school. No thanks? I'd rather cruise around, play music & chat at events... be on the radio... need I go on? I WANT TO BE A CRUISER GIRL FOREVER. This isn't ending in a week... I'm going to deal with this crisis the same way I deal with most things... forget the problem exists and move on hahahaha. #worstadviceever #sorrynotsorry

ANYWAYS so last night I had a clothing sale!! IT WAS SO SUCCESSFUL. I'm SO happy... everyone that came fell in love with something AND I know my clothes are going to be cared for and loved... (they are my babies, yes) SO I am so so so happy & a bit richer which is always nice. I'm definitely having a sale at X... I have about 1/4 left to sell still SO It's TOTALLY happening. I have SUCH a problem it's insane. As I'm discussing how I sold my outrageously expensive clothes for basically nothing I am cruising blogs & looking at new clothes... HENSE my issue. #shopaholicmuch #sorrydad

Well I can't blog for much longer... I realllyyyyyy wanted to wander the shops dt Hali for fun today since it's SO gorg out.... usual day off routine. Here are a couple things I am LOVING for fall.... the mustard/ burgundy/ chocolate colours are in which is amazing... along with #armswag (lots of bracelets plus a watch) AND heeled booties. Everything I am COMPLETELY into. Lord help me!

HOLLA! Whoaaaa it has been awhile since I last blogged... lordy! I've been working like crazy ( but being a cruiser girl is the best job in ze WORLD so whatevaaa #word) but geeezzzz I seriously need to start blogging again! I miss it! SO if this isn't classic then I don't know WHAT is... but I saw the Katy Perry 3D movie with ma girl vee tay and I am officially re-inspired. SO motivational... I'm back on the goal-set-train CHOOT CHOOT. I'm also clearly re-obsessed with Katy Perry... I have all of her songs on repeat for when I go for long runs haahahaha #naturally. If you haven't seen the movie yet, YA NEED TO GO. Oh, I did the premiere for Step Up REVOLUTION last week... don't go see that one. BADDDDD (just saying)... however the lead guy aint no channing tatum, but he's a serious treat for the eyes. 


ooOOOooo I must point out the fact that the USA swimmer, Ryan Lochte... he literally gives me CHILLS. He is beautiful... do I hear an amen sister? Like #cometomamma.... the man is beautiful. ALSO it's almost August... aka TERRIFYING. I mean I love X BUT school is school... I'd rather cruise around & go to wicked awesome events and make cash monay? ALSO... girls, you NEED to start watching the show "Girls" on HBO. It's like a younger-sex-and-the-city-but-raunchier-if-that's-possible. It's FANTASTIC. The show is a hoot- check er out.
